Why this work matters

A thoughtful place to begin.

This is a nonclinical stewardship program centered on purpose, connection, resilience, and meaningful participation. It is intended to complement—not replace—qualified health care while creating low-pressure opportunities to work with land, habitat, animals, and community.

Program C provides military veterans with opportunities for purpose, stewardship, recovery, connection, education, and meaningful participation in mission-driven activities. The program is intended for veterans and should not be broadened to police or first responders unless a separate future program is deliberately created.

The core philosophy is that purpose supports recovery, connection supports resilience, stewardship creates meaning, and nature can support well-being. Diva Dogs is not designed to replace clinical care. Any mental health services must be provided only by qualified professionals operating within appropriate legal, ethical, and licensing standards.

Built with care

Capacity comes before promises.

Diva Dogs will publish active service locations and verified progress as they are formally approved. Until then, this page describes the program being built—not completed outcomes or currently enrolled beneficiaries.
