Why Diva Dogs Began
Diva Dogs began with a simple realization: animal welfare, healthy land, wildlife habitat, and human well-being are not separate challenges. In rural communities, they often meet on the same properties and within the same families.
Diva Dogs was formed in Oregon to connect those needs through practical stewardship—responsible animal rescue, habitat improvement, community partnerships, and programs that create purpose, access, and connection for veterans, neurodivergent people, seniors, caregivers, and families.
Instead of depending entirely on one large sanctuary, Diva Dogs is building a distributed stewardship network that can grow responsibly through approved sites, capable partners, and demonstrated community need.
Where We Serve
Diva Dogs is an Oregon nonprofit developing locally rooted stewardship programs for animals, people, and the land. We plan to begin through approved sites and partnerships in Oregon, then expand where community need, funding, qualified partners, and responsible delivery capacity align. Active service locations will be published as they are formally approved.
