A thoughtful place to begin.
This program joins two kinds of dignity: meaningful stewardship opportunities for older adults and thoughtful support for senior animals, including draft-horse retirement. It is designed around companionship, patience, mentoring, humane care, and contributions that respect changing abilities.
Program E improves quality of life for aging humans and aging animals through stewardship, companionship, support, education, and placement opportunities. The program recognizes dignity, connection, purpose, and compassion as core principles.
Senior human engagement may include meaningful volunteer opportunities, stewardship participation, education, mentoring, community connection, oral history, low-impact workdays, and legacy stewardship projects. Seniors may contribute knowledge, patience, lived experience, and continuity to the organization.
